Ahmad Zafran Abdul Mutalib, who used the pen name Panaharjuna, was a factory worker who quit his job because he knew he had less than a year to live due to a heart condition. That pushed him to fulfil his passion for comics illustration.
He produced several comics, one of which was Sahabat Kole Kacang series, before his death early this year.
He even sold his late father's old motorcycle for RM800 and bought a second-hand laptop which enabled him to complete his comics illustrations faster.
